Ruby’s Husband (Hydrocele)

Here is the chart of a man with hydrocele.
Venus in Scorpio
With the exception of Mars in Cancer and Saturn in Cancer, I am not inclined to read very deeply into the presence of a planet in the sign of its detriment or fall. I would be particularly disinclined to overly interpret either of these types of zodiacal affliction if that planet was not also afflicted by the hard aspect of some other planet, especially a malefic. However, if I were to interpret the essential debility of any planet other than Mars and Saturn as being medically significant, the detriment and fall of the Moon and Venus would be at the top of the list.
In the charts of both men and women, as a single factor, Venus in Scorpio already points to reproductive health concerns. This is even more likely to be the case if the native also has hard aspects to their essentially debilitated Venus from Mars, Uranus, Neptune, or Pluto. The native under study here has none of these aspects. However, it is noteworthy that from a traditional perspective, Venus is the ruler of both the Ascendant and the sixth house of sickness, and is in the sign of Scorpio, which corresponds with the reproductive organs. Therefore, this placement could indicate that the native’s main source of illness within this lifetime will be his reproductive system. The fact that the ruler of his sixth house of sickness is terrestrially located in his seventh house of marriage may indicate that his sexual health concerns will directly impact his marital life.
Venus in Scorpio quincunx Chiron
Venus governs the prostate gland, the seminal vesicles, and the quality of a man’s sperm in general. Chiron corresponds with a chronic illness or an unhealable wound. Scorpio corresponds with the reproductive organs within the charts of both men and women. Thus, Venus in Scorpio quincunx Chiron could signify a chronic illness that will afflict the native’s reproductive health.
Venus parallel Uranus
Within the chart of a man, Venus governs his fertility and the overall quality of his sperm. Uranus corresponds with spasms and erratic functioning. Venus/Uranus within a man’s chart can denote an erratic sperm count and an overall tendency to-wards infertility. This combination is the primary astrological constant for infertility in the charts of both men and women.
