This program is designed for those who feel called to unite the art of healing with the science of astrology. It is ideal for practitioners of complementary medicine—acupuncturists, herbalists, Reiki practitioners, yoga therapists, hypnotherapists, and bodyworkers—as well as medical professionals who wish to explore astrological perspectives on health, vitality, and disease.
If you’ve ever sensed that the body’s patterns mirror the movements of the heavens, this course will teach you to read that correspondence with precision and confidence.
In this foundational year, you’ll learn to interpret the human body as a living reflection of the cosmos. Through classical and practical training, you’ll develop the ability to assess constitutional strength, diagnose imbalance, and support healing using concrete astrological technique.
Upon completing Year One, you’ll have the tools and confidence to begin practicing natal-based medical astrology assessment professionally. You’ll also be able to cast and interpret medical horary charts to enhance your client work—offering holistic, concrete insight that bridges the celestial and the physical.
Graduates who wish to continue deepening their craft are invited to enter Year Two, which focuses on predictive medical astrology, Uranian techniques, and Cosmobiology—bringing time, energy, and the body into one cohesive diagnostic framework.

Foundations of Classical Medical Astrology
Prerequisite: FOCA
This course marks the formal beginning of your journey into Medical Astrology at OSA. Designed for graduates of the Foundations of Classical Astrology (FOCA) program, it guides students who wish to anchor their natal practice in the study of health, vitality, and the body’s sacred relationship to the heavens.
In this semester, you’ll explore the classical correspondences between astrology, anatomy, and physiology—learning to see the body as a reflection of the cosmos in both structure and function. Alongside these technical studies, you’ll develop the psychological insight necessary to understand the human experience behind each health concern, integrating the physical and the emotional into a unified model of wellness.
By the end of this course, you’ll possess a complete framework for understanding the interconnection between astrology, psychology, and physiology—laying the groundwork for all advanced studies in OSA’s Medical Astrology program.
Natal-Based Medical Astrology
Prerequisite: Foundations of Classical Medical Astrology
In this second semester, you’ll expand your diagnostic and interpretive abilities through an intensive series of client case studies designed to refine your eye for the subtle correspondences between chart and body. Using the OSA Medical Astrology Rubric, you’ll learn to identify and synthesize all indicators of health, vitality, and imbalance present within a natal chart—transforming symbolic knowledge into clear, evidence-based insight.
This semester focuses specifically on the pathologies associated with the cardinal signs of the zodiac, providing an in-depth study of how foundational energies express through physical and behavioral patterns. You’ll also receive further training in concrete, event-based natal astrology, ensuring that your medical interpretations are grounded within a complete, professional-grade delineation.
By the end of this semester, you’ll be able to deliver precise, responsible, and deeply informed medical readings—bridging the symbolic and the somatic with confidence and care.

This advanced program is open exclusively to students who have completed Year One of OSA’s Medical Astrology Diploma Program. It is designed for practitioners who are ready to move beyond assessment and into the realm of prediction, research, and clinical application—where the body, the psyche, and time itself converge through astrological technique.
In this second year of training, you’ll integrate your foundational knowledge with advanced systems of celestial analysis drawn from both the classical and modern traditions. Through live case studies, research, and applied practice, you’ll learn to forecast the cycles of health and recovery with precision and nuance.
Upon successful completion of Year Two, students receive the OSA Medical Astrology Certificate—a credential that recognizes technical mastery and ethical competence in both medical assessment and predictive analysis.
Graduates are equipped to conduct comprehensive medical astrology consultations, integrating both diagnostic and predictive methods. You’ll also receive access to advanced resources for expanding your professional offerings through complementary medicine systems—allowing your practice to grow in depth, precision, and healing impact.
Prerequisite: Completion of Year One of the Medical Astrology Diploma Program
In this advanced-level course, you’ll enter the dynamic worlds of Uranian Astrology and Cosmobiology—two 20th-century schools of astrological thought that extend the precision of classical astrology into the realm of measurable, event-based application.
You’ll study the methodology behind these systems and learn to bring them to life in practical chart delineation. Through detailed client casework, you’ll learn to perform full natal assessments using the 360° and 90° dials, developing fluency in identifying planetary midpoints and configurations without the use of the Trans-Neptunian Planets (TNPs). These tools will allow you to corroborate and enrich your traditional medical astrology readings with greater diagnostic accuracy and clarity.
By the end of this course, you’ll be able to perform precise and multidimensional health assessments—bridging traditional astrological medicine with the analytic sophistication of Uranian and Cosmobiological technique.

Prerequisite: Uranian Astrology & Cosmobiology in Cosmic Health Assessment
In this course, you’ll move from natal analysis to the art of medical prediction, applying the principles of revolutional astrology—the cornerstone of OSA’s predictive methodology. Students already fluent in both traditional and Uranian delineation will now learn to forecast cycles of vitality, imbalance, and renewal through the study of Solar Returns, Lunar Returns, and Embolismic Lunations.
This advanced semester trains you to identify when health themes are likely to arise and how to guide clients toward balance during critical periods. You’ll develop the ability to time physiological changes and healing processes with clarity and confidence—offering truly comprehensive support through the language of the stars.
By the end of this course, you’ll be capable of providing nuanced, predictive readings that unify medical astrology, classical technique, and Uranian precision—helping your clients approach the future with greater stability, awareness, and peace of mind.

Prerequisite: Planetary Revolutions in Medical Astrology
In this capstone semester, you’ll synthesize every principle you’ve learned throughout the Medical Astrology Diploma Program into one cohesive, predictive system. This advanced training integrates transits, secondary directions, and solar arc directions, explored through the use of the graphic ephemeris and Uranian dials.
You’ll learn to apply these methods across all dimensions of a client’s life, with particular focus on the patterns that signify health shifts, recovery cycles, and periods of heightened physiological sensitivity. The result is a mastery-level understanding of how time, movement, and the body intersect through the living architecture of the cosmos.
By the end of this semester, you will stand among OSA’s most accomplished practitioners—equipped to deliver profound, evidence-based medical astrology readings and contribute meaningfully to the evolving field of astrological medicine.
The Medical Astrology Practicum
After completing their coursework, students enter the OSA Medical Astrology Practicum—the bridge between study and professional practice. Here, you’ll begin working as a practicing medical astrologer under guided mentorship, applying your skills with real clients while refining your interpretive and counseling techniques.
Group mentorship sessions provide support for the practical and ethical challenges that arise in client work, ensuring continued growth within a collaborative learning environment.
Each student also completes an independent research project on a specific pathology, presenting their findings as part of the two-part Diploma Examination—the final step toward professional recognition as an OSA Medical Astrologer.

Upon completing the practicum, students undertake the OSA Medical Astrology Certification Examination, designed to demonstrate the full scope of their technical, interpretive, and research-based mastery.
The certification process consists of two parts:
Upon successful completion of both examinations, students are awarded the OSA Medical Astrology Diploma—a recognition of their professional readiness, research integrity, and mastery of concrete, event-based medical astrology.
